I love eating. Especially breakfast. Like many people, I am also concerned with my weight although my 47-48 kilogram barely changed even after many years. I suppose, I got lucky. However, I also think it has something to do with my eating habits.

We all want to have a healthy weight. Unfortunately, some fall into eating patterns that is not sustainable and can be misleading. We are not new to the term "yoyo diet."

One sustainable eating practice that some, if not all, might find suitable, is eating a big breakfast. What I mean here is a breakfast that is balanced and fiber-based. You see, eating a fiber-based breakfast would fill your stomach longer, thus, avoiding getting hungry and eating snacks. In my case, I only eat meals three times - one big breakfast, one so-so lunch, and a small dinner which I eat at 5 or 6 pm. After that, I am all set for the day. 

Personally, I think we do not need to follow a very strict diet to maintain a healthy weight. It would be nice to be ripped and slim, of course but if you do not see yourself being able to do that, it is always better to improve what you have with the healthiest food options accessible. 

I even met someone who fasted for five days! I asked her, "That sounds...amazing, but do you notice yourself getting angry, or irritable?"

You guessed it, she said yes! 

Food is not the enemy. Calories are needed by the body to function. It is alright to eat something unhealthy every once in a while. Eat good food (for those who are able and have a chance to) and drink lots of water!
